A once-in-a-lifetime 8-day immersive workshop to overcome perfectionism, enter flow, and create freely —
in the birthplace of the Renaissance.
Every artist knows the sting of staring at a blank canvas. You want to create, but the voice in your head whispers, “Don’t mess it up. It has to be perfect.” That voice isn’t truth, it’s the tyranny of perfectionism.
It robs you of flow, steals your joy, and convinces you that what you make will never measure up. So you hesitate. You compare. You stall. And the work that could have been is left undone.
But what if you could leave that voice behind? What if, instead of judgment, you felt freedom, the same freedom that inspired generations of artists before you?
In Italy, surrounded by history, beauty, and community, you’ll finally silence the critic and create from a place of flow.

Because stepping out of your ordinary is half the battle.
In the countryside of Italy, where paper was born, where Dante’s fate was sealed, where art has whispered through cobblestones for centuries—you’ll remember that you are part of a bigger story.
And when the location itself reminds you daily that art is legacy, not performance—suddenly your own blocks start to feel small. Manageable. Conquerable.
Workshops at Castello della Pieve
Excursions to Fabriano papermaking + Urbino
Creative exercises designed to help you flow
Community meals + conversations that nourish the artist’s soul”
Yes, there will be paper-making and bookbinding and wine and laughter. But those are just doorways. The real experience is this:
You’ll be given tools—mental, psychological, spiritual—that make you unstoppable when you return home.
You’ll learn how to transform self-doubt into fuel. How to make marks when your hand wants to freeze. How to create joyfully when your mind insists on judgment.
You’ll leave with more than memories. You’ll leave rewired.

Most workshops will teach you how to paint a landscape. This one will teach you how to finally live as an artist.
But I’ll be blunt: this isn’t for everyone. If you want someone to hold your hand and show you how to paint like them, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a vacation with a little art on the side, this isn’t it.
This is for those ready to drop the excuses, step into Italy, and discover what they were created to express.
We only have room for 12. And every time I’ve opened opportunities like this, the spots have gone fast—because there aren’t many chances in life to step away and rebuild your creative identity.
The deposit is $800.
It’s refundable if life changes. But once the seats are filled, they’re filled.
So here’s my question:
Do you want to keep bargaining with your blank canvas?
Or do you want to finally silence it, forever?
These testimonials come from past workshops, classes, and coaching experiences with Tim.
While this Italy retreat is a brand-new offering, they reflect the kind of guidance, creativity, and transformation you can expect in working with him.
My life changed forever
You covered a lot of territory and explained some things that I didn't quite get when I first heard them. In addition, the new techniques were really explained well. Thanks again for a great workshop. A great value for the money.
